Stage Crew
CATCO has opportunities for individuals to get involved working behind the scenes on our productions. Stage Crew members work in the control booth or backstage, acting as light board operators, sound board operators, props runners, assistant stage managers, dressers, and stage hands. Some experience in technical theatre is very helpful, but not absolutely necessary. There is a substantial time commitment, as well as a modest stipend ( but you probably shouldn't quit the day job!). Stage Crew members commit to six-to-eight weeks of rehearsal and performances, including most evenings Wednesday through Sunday. Stage Crew members have the opportunity to meet new people, and will enjoy the camaraderie of working together with all of our artists and technicians to create the magic that our patrons see each night.

Fellowships
Each season, CATCO hires fellows in one or more of the following areas: Acting, Costumes, Production, and Stage Management. The fellowship candidate has recently graduated from college with a Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts degree in theatre and is interested in a career in professional theatre. Fellows work with staff members for an entire season and receive a competitive stipend (housing and transportation are not provided). Auditions and interviews for fellowships are held in the late winter or early spring. If you would like to be notified about fellowship auditions and interviews, please email your name, contact info, area of interest and degree received to tgerckens@catco.org.
