SATURDAY MORNING MUSICALS

The global phenomenon featured in The New York Times is coming to CATCO is Kids as our Fall Saturday Morning Musicals class. Students will spend 8 Saturday mornings building the skills necessary to become “triple threat” performers while learning and performing in a virtual musical!

VIRTUAL TEEN SCENE STUDY

When: October 6-November 12, 2020 | Tuesdays (ages 13-15) and Thursdays (ages 16-18) from 6-8 pm.
Ages: 13-18
Instructor: Krista Stauffer

In this 6-week class, students will explore acting in two-person scenes, honing a variety of theatrical skills such as open scenes, being a reliable scene partner, cold reading strategies, and more all from the comfort of their own home. The class is broken into two sections by age range, 13-15 (Tuesdays) and 16-18 (Thursdays), and will meet once a week. Recordings of your student’s scenes will be recorded via Zoom during week 6 and shared with you at a later date.

VIRTUAL ADULT ACTING CLASS

When: October 7–December 2, 2020 | Wednesdays from 6-8 pm.
Ages: 21+
Instructor: Ralph Scott

Students will work with graduate of the Second City Training Center and 35-year-veteran of the stage and screen Ralph Scott to define and refine their stage acting skills. This class will cover a range of topics including cold readings, monologues, two-person scenes, and more. All levels of acting experience are welcome! We recommend this class for adults who are looking to learn more about acting or those who are looking for an acting tune-up.
