SUMMER CAMP UPDATE

We hope you are safe, healthy and staying creative during these uncertain times. We miss you, and we can’t wait to see you again.

From the beginning of this pandemic, we have focused on the safety of our patrons and staff as our top priority, while serving our community. We have monitored each of the developments related to the COVID-19 virus to ensure that our programming is safe and responsible.  That has led us to the decision that CATCO is Kids will not host in-person camps at the Columbus Performing Arts Center this summer.

Instead, we will create virtual, interactive opportunities that will begin later this summer. We are in the early stages of planning and pivoting to virtual summer camp programming for 8-12- year-old and teen students. Additionally, we hope to design single-class programs for our younger students. As in years past, you can count on CATCO is Kids to provide enriching and engaging theatrical experiences during the summer no matter what form they take. We take this responsibility seriously and are taking these steps to ensure the safety of your children and family.

Our virtual camps are still in the planning stages and will not mirror the exact scheduling, content, or weekly themes we had planned for our 2020 summer camps, but they will be consistent with the kind of creative instruction you’ve come to expect from us. Be on the lookout for additional information and registration options.

We look forward to gathering together to hear and tell thrilling stories again when the world is a more predictable place.
