THEATRE ARTS CAMP

5-WEEKS LEARNING PERFORMANCE & THEATRE PRODUCTION

Students will write new endings to contemporary plays while learning theatre performance and production skills. The summer program ends with a final day of performances on Thursday, June 30, at 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM. For ages 5-13 *must have completed Kindergarten.

(3 PM if attending the entire month)

PERFORMANCES
June 30, 2022, at 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM

Cost: $125 weekly per week ($625 total) or $500 if you pay for all five weeks on or before May 1, 2022. Note: Weekly payments are due one week before the date of the respective class.

Scholarships: A limited amount of scholarships are available for those eligible. Please apply here.

Health and Safety: Standard COVID-19 policy will be followed. Subject to change due to CATCO, Columbus Public Health, and/or CDC advisory. Masks are required to be worn for the entirety of all classes covering the mouth and nose. Depending on the safety requirements at the time, students may perform without wearing masks unless a parent/guardian requires the mask to be worn during performances.

SATURDAY MORNING MUSICALS:

WIZARD OF OZ ADAPTATION

10-WEEKS LEARNING MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTION

Students will spend ten consecutive Saturday mornings writing and developing an adaptation of Wizard of Oz. Participants will learn essential musical theatre production and performance skills. The 10-weeks will be followed by a day of performances on Saturday, April 9 at 2 PM, 3:30 PM, and 5 PM at CPAC Shedd Theatre.

Additional class details: Performances will be open to the general public. Tickets are $10; two complimentary tickets are included in the price per one registration.
